The market for the Indian film industry has been deteriorating since 2020. However, the OTT platform has been a bet on this pandemic.
People have got a taste of real talent and good story. OTT platforms like Amazon, Netflix, ALT Balaji, MX player, Zee5 have taken the Bollywood market down a lot.
Many Bollywood stars are coming to OTT for him now.
And once again, the Zee5 OTT platform has come up with a new web series with several underrated Bollywood actors and actresses.
The original Netflix OTT platform with a web series called “Ray”.
Tensions have been running high since the release of the first poster of the “Ray” web series.
The web, directed by Srijit Mukherjee and based on the story of Ray, was finally released on Netflix.
Already many people are liking the “Ray” web. However, I will try to give you an honest review in my own opinion today.
The story of the “Ray” web series
The Ray web series is made up of 4 episodes with four episodes lasting about an hour.
Four episodes, four stories. There is no relationship with each other except the writer and the director.
These stories are basically made up of some addictions in the lives of our common people. As a result, the picture seems to be related to many.
So let’s take a look at the essence of the four stories.
1) Revenge: –
Revenge is a significant factor in human addiction. The diameter is the first story in this series to exploit this theme.
A rich businessman whose brain is better than a computer
Something happens in the life of the person whom everyone trusts more than the calculator, which makes him feel that he is slowly moving away from the number first, then from the people and even from himself.
The story is full of a mix of thriller, suspense and drama and has enough power full direction.
2) Ego: –
The second addiction is “ego”. In some people’s lives, love, hate, anger, sadness, laughter, tears, the word “ego” grows in such a way that it sets that person apart from everything else.
In this story there is a man, i.e. the main character of the story, a makeup artist. The problem of Ener’s life is that no one in the society respects it.
But the twist in life comes when after his great-grandmother Dida dies, he leaves Rs 75 lakh and a mysterious diary for her.
Bess then decides that God will write his own future with his thumb on the diary mystery. What happens then?

3) Envy: –
“Envy” means “combustion”, which is another human addiction.

But the twist in his life comes when a woman takes his focus away from him and becomes a lead role actor in a side role.
Then comes the real drama. Will the hero regain his former existence? Or will the new focus fall into the trap of the actress?

4) Betrayal: –
Betrayed people fall into one more big addiction. Most of the time we see what is shown to us. But that may not always be true.
And the next story in this series is the most interesting in my opinion.
The hero of this story is a happy young man with a smile. However, at the beginning of the story, the hero is on a train and meets a man who was a wrestler in his youth.
And they think they already know each other.
The third character, a clock so that not only time can be seen, time can also be changed.

In very few words Ray is a perfect web series in my opinion for those viewers who love to see stories of different tastes.
However, in my opinion, the story “NV” is completely different from the rest of the stories in this series and is not suitable at all. None of the story, direction, acting could go to the same level as the other three stories.
Excluding this story, Ray could be a perfect web series.
